“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realising who you are at the deepest level.” -Eckhart Tolle
Over ten years ago, I attended my first vinyasa yoga class and instantly fell in love with the flow and power associated with this beautiful practice. At that point I could have never predicted how influential yoga would become in my life. As the years passed by my yoga and meditation practice gradually evolved to the next level. After a few months of practicing at hauteyoga Queen Anne, I began to experience an inner knowing that was rooted in a place so deep within me I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. I was naturally more inclined towards love and peace, instead of anxiety and doubt. For the first time in my entire life I experienced true happiness not through force, but through effortless self-love.
During a meditation session where I repeatedly asked myself, "who am I?" I had an epiphany regarding my dharma -- I was placed on this earth to help others find inner peace. This insight, in addition to 10 years of education and work experience, has given me an extraordinary set of skills to guide others towards happiness and purpose in their own lives.
When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others. - Peace Pilgrim
